  • The Essential Detail workshop

We look but how much do we see? Our perception is efficient and fast. Yet its very speed can blind us to the crucial details of our lives. In our workshop, you learn to slow down your perception to access subtle yet essential details. You energize your vision and uncover new ways of seeing.

  • New perspectives

In our New Perspectives Workshop, you learn to move beyond ingrained perceptual habits as you explore new points of view and master “the reframe.” Issues of bias, interpretation, and ambiguity are also considered and their application to creative thinking explored.

  • The color workshop

You finetune your ability to perceive color and understand its inner workings through guided interactions with masterpieces from the world’s great collections and a set of perceptual-art exercises. You explore, too, the emotional tenor of color and its interpretive associations while further cultivating your own creative voice.

  • Visual Empathy

You enhance your self-empathy in our Visual Empathy workshop as you become more aware of your own visual stance. You then practice shifting your seeing to inhabit the visual perspective of another, stretching your empathy from self to other.

  • Pattern play

Underlying what we see are essential geometries. As you gain a reading on such structural patterns, you access a big picture view,. From there, you consider, with greater ease, the interrelationship of all the parts. Such a holistic perspective provides you with tools for heightened creative thinking.

  • invisible contexts

While context impacts how we see, it often remains hidden from our conscious perception. In our Invisible Context workshop, you move from the hypnosis of the object to an awareness backgrounds. You enlarge your seeing capacities while activating your ability to reframe and generate creative ideas.

  • art analogues

The Art Analogue workshop offers tools to help you translate problems from their initial context to an artistic one. Through such transcriptions, you re-envision your assumptions, access new ideas, and stimulate creative thinking.

  • Impossible Architecture

What would an underwater hospital look like? A floating zoo? In our Impossible Architecture workshop, you discover off-the-beaten-track buildings, which serve as sources of inspiration help you to enlarge your thinking. You let go of the bounds of reality and play at imagining the impossible.

  • The search for the center

What is at the center? Of ourselves? Of our lives? Of what we see? Through an exploration of selected artworks and hands-on creative exercises, you increase your capacity to identify centers in both your interior and exterior realities. Your heightened identification of centers helps you move out of peripheral wonderings towards your most essential dreams.
