sensverse studio

by Anne Willieme

Sensverse Studio is an art creation space that brings about interactive artworks, choreographies, art research and perceptual art training programs.

As creator and leader of Sensverse, with a focus on sensory perception, I explore how multisensory artworks can enhance our senses and how deepened sensory pathways can help us access new ways of thinking, feeling, and seeing. I also examine the links between sense perception and ecology, while seeking to generate further dialogues between the two.

Looking to art as a way to investigate new ways of knowing, my work also probes how dream research and art analogical systems can serve as tools to propel creative thinking and problem-solving across domains.

Interactivity is a central tenet of Sensverse as viewers are invited to become participants in my works. Many of my art pieces function as hybrid media, combining installation, performance, and art engagement into one participatory event. I also offer perceptual art training programs, based on extensive work undertaken in the art and medicine field.

I look forward to having you onboard.

Anne Willieme/Cosmos n.1/Watercolor

Sensverse looks to the realms of sensory perception, self and planetary ecology, dream work and art analogues as potent territories within which art can act.

Sensverse’s approach is inherently multidisciplinary both in terms of Willieme’s artwork, which makes use of multiple media, and also in light of the way Sensverse seeks to collaborate across domains.

Sensverse Studio mixes high and low tech, from paint to augmented reality and partners with multimedia artists, academics, scientists, physicians and software engineers.
