Liquid memory

Moments: Liquid Memory is an interactive art hybrid that invites participants on a journey of wine, taste and memory via story. Through Moments: Liquid Memory, the viewer becomes a participant in the work. The stories of Moments then form the basis of an art installation created by Sensverse.

Excerpts from Moments: Liquid Memory

You pulled out a chess game. You set up the pieces and we started to play in the sweltering heat. I moved my white pawn. “Queen opening” you remarked.

Stacked wine bottles in each cell transform into a liquid library of encapsulated moments.

What memory does the complex aroma of a deep red Bordeaux bring up for you? Perhaps it reminds you of a shared family celebration of years ago with your beloved cousins or a meal with close friends, memorable for its warmth and good conversation?

What association might you have when you taste the fresh zest of a Sauvignon Blanc? Does its taste of lemongrass and strong acidity make you think of a picnic with your beloved under an ancient willow tree? Does it lead you to recall a cafe in a small seaside town where you spent hours mesmerized by the sea’s rhythmic waves?

Moments: Liquid Memory invites you to time travel through wine.
