  • Engage in creative exercises and flex your creative muscles

  • Discover and deepen your knowledge of master works from he world great collections

A gesture can be smooth, fluid and slow or sharp, brusque and quick. Gestures can be made with heads, hands and arms or feet and legs. A gesture can express attraction or reveal distance. In the world of painting and sculpture, gesture takes center stage.

Body language accounts for 55% of our communication. However, it often takes place below the threshold of our awareness. During our workshop intensive, through specifically designed engagements with art, you’ll have a chance to heighten your awareness of the body’s complex vocabulary. You’ll investigate some of the museum’s great masterpieces while boosting your ability to notice the body’s cues, your own and that of others, from barely discernable micro-expressions to patterned movements.

In addition, through a series of hands-on art and creative writing exercises, you’ll have the opportunity to further flex your creative muscles.
